$9.5 Million Campaign Announced to Expand and Restore 2801 San Jacinto – Over $6.32 Million Raised in Early Commitments
In 1904, a group of young men created an organization unlike any other at the University of Texas. Today, 114 years later, Delta Tau Delta is committed to cultivating lasting friendships and creating a community of brotherhood within UT, and they continue to represent the standard of excellence within the Greek community. Our success on campus and as alumni proves that Gamma Iota has made—and still makes—a major difference in the lives of all brothers.
Today, we must focus our efforts to provide the same opportunities for future brothers. To remain competitive within the Greek community we must stay in the forefront. Today, students and their parents demand the space, privacy, and amenities of these upgraded student housing choices, and 2801 San Jacinto simply cannot compete with other fraternity chapter houses, apartment complexes, and student housing. It’s time for us to provide a modern facility that will attract the best and brightest young men and continue the tradition of Texas Delts well into the 21st century.
